Kevin Rivest

Managing Partner, Head of North American Cold Chain Investments

Kevin Rivest is a Managing Director of Investments at BGO based in Washington, DC. In addition to his leadership role with the Cold Storage team, he also holds a leadership role on the U.S. investments team and serves on BGO’s U.S. Management Committee. Kevin is ideally suited to be the Portfolio Manager for the Cold Storage Fund given his deep investment track record in logistics (both dry and cold storage), development, and experience with portfolio construction and management on behalf of separate account clients.

Kevin has broad experience across the four major real estate asset classes, participating in over $5 billion of transactions in his career at BGO with a focus on Core, Core Plus, and Development investment strategies throughout the U.S. In addition to many direct acquisitions, Kevin has sourced, negotiated, and managed multiple programmatic joint ventures on behalf of BGO funds.

Kevin joined in the firm in 2006. Prior to joining BGO, Kevin worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Delta Associates. Over his 16-year real estate career, Kevin’s focus on real estate investing has included responsibilities in acquisitions/investments, asset management, and portfolio management.

Kevin holds a master’s degree in real estate development from Johns Hopkins University and graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University. Kevin is an active member of NAREIM, NAIOP, and the Urban Land Institute.
